Ukraine demonstrates a record pace of products export, the pace is the same as last year. For the first three months of this year, the annual quota for duty-free supply of cereals, corn, juices, honey, sugar, processed tomatoes has been closed for one hundred percent.  Honey broke all records – almost in the first decade of January 2017, quotas for the import of Ukrainian honey by European countries were completely closed.

In April the “quoted” butter was exported by Ukraine for six months ahead, and poultry meat – by the end of June.

Europeans were not so quick. The limit on duty-free export of pork to Ukraine is closed only by 5.2%; Sugar – 0.51%.

Domestic producers of chicken meat are ready to increase exports, supply constraints do not suit them. Thus, the owner of the agroholding Mironovskiy Hliboproduct believes that such small quotas are a deception of Ukraine. He believes that the European market could accept 250-300 thousand tons of chicken per year, and this would be fair and acceptable for all. By the way, “Myronivsky Hliboproduct” (MHP) is the first Ukrainian agro-industrial company, whose shares are being quoted on the London Stock Exchange.
