Between Hungary and Serbia …is a fence

To stop the flow of illegal migrants from Syria, two years ago Hungary installed wire fences on the border with Serbia, which is not a member of the European Union. Now the second “fence” was built with a height of three meters and a length of more than a hundred kilometers has been built before the planned.

The common border between two countries is rather long, by European standards, it is 175 kilometers. It remains uncovered a powerful fence of 60 kilometers.

The initiator of the construction of the barrier was the Hungarian president – a well-known opponent of the open borders for refugees from Syria. He believes that such a policy is a threat to “Christian identity”.
