Ministry of Health warns: the reform is coming

After the financing reform, the share of private medicine in our country will increase significantly – said Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine Pavel Kovtoniuk. He believes that the package of laws, that has been introduced into the parliament will help not only to develop private medicine, but also to attract investors.

The patient himself will be able to be treated in any medical institution: public utility, private or departmental through the national health insurance system.

The line, where a specific operation or procedure will be indicated in black and white, will appear. They will be fully paid from the state budget or the patient will pay the necessary amount.

Undoubtedly, the reform will become very painful for the corruption component in public hospitals and will seriously affect the prices in private institutions. The state order is huge, so the tariffs are promised to be lowered.
