OSCE under the fire

The OSCE mission machine was blown up on a mine under Lugansk, in the zone controlled by the OPLO. One person was killed, his body  was transferred to the Ukrainian side on the same day (in about 22 hours). There is evidence that it was a US citizen.

Militants also report about two wounded German citizens – OSCE staff, while they are in the hospital, in Lugansk. Their condition is of moderate severity.

The Ukrainian side expressed condolences to the relatives of the victims. It was also noted that at the specified time, both sides observed a regime of silence.

SBU opened a criminal case under the article “terrorist act”. The authorities of the so-called LNR also reported on the beginning of the investigation of the incident. They said that the provocation was allegedly organized by Ukrainian saboteurs.
