The law on the occupation of Donbass has been rejected

The Parliamentary Committee of Local Self-Government did not take into consideration the draft law, in which the occupation of part of Donbass by the aggressor country was practically recognized.

Now, all those who have gone to prisons in the territory of the ORLLO are regarded as hostages or detainees on the territory of Ukraine.

In the opinion of the authors of the draft, if the document had gained it’s strength after compulsory legal procedures, then all those who were forcibly held behind the line of contact would be considered prisoners of war. And then it would be realistic to achieve their release and return home.
