The head of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine Roman Nasirov is suspected of committing acts which caused damage to the state in the amount of 2 billion hryvnia.
This was stated by the chief of the fourth division of the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Roman Sivkov.
According to Roman Sivkina, investigators believe that the head of fiscal services had been taking unjustified decisions to defer rent for the extraction of minerals. It helped people’s deputy Alexander Onishchenko to implement corruption schemes.
Also, the chief of the fourth division of EPS said that when detectives NABU came to the hospital, “Theophania,” where Nasirov is currently located, in order to give him a message on suspicion. The workers of the hospital didn’t give them permission to do that. But detectives were still inside and made a charge.
According to the doctor, Nasirov has had a heart attack.
Nasirov’s lawyers defended the head of GFS and stated that NABU staff had handed suspicion when the head Nasirov has already been unconscious. Thus, they claim, awarding suspect is illegal.
