The second aircraft carrier of China

The first aircraft carrier of its own production was launched at the Chinese shipyard, in the port of Dalian, in a solemn atmosphere. After sea trials, the ship will be adopted in the twentieth year. The first ship of this type appeared in the naval fleet of the Celestial Empire after the completion of the former Soviet cruiser Varyag, which was bought from Ukraine in the late nineties.

The media reported about the construction of a third aircraft carrier, it will be equipped with a steam catapult instead of a take-off ramp, like its predecessors.
