“The green wave” for visa free regime

The Council of the European Union for Foreign Affairs voted for a visa-free regime for short trips of Ukrainians to the Schengen zone. A week later, Peter Poroshenko will go to the ceremony, during which the document will be signed by the President of the European Parliament and the representative of Malta. And in the second decade of June, after the publication of the relevant regulations, the way to Europe will be open.

Negotiations on “visa-free travel” began nine years ago, in November 2010 the EU proposed a road map. The Ukrainian parliament has adopted all necessary laws.
