The parliamentary election in Bulgaria was won by a party of pro-European format

The pro-European party GERBT has become the winner on the early parliamentary elections in Bulgaria. The second place has been occupied by the Cornelia Ninovaya BSP party, which is called pro-Russian.

The parliamentary elections in Bulgaria were held on Sunday, March 26. According to preliminary information, the party GERB (Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria) was supported by 32.8% of the vote, while the BSP (Bulgarian Socialist Party) won 28.4% of the vote.

In addition to the two leading parties, three more parties are also in parliament, having overcome the barter of 4%: United Patriots, Movement for Rights and Freedoms and Volia.

Thus, the leader of the GERB Boyko Borisov, accepted the mandate for the development of the III Cabinet.

After the announcement of the results, Cornelia Ninova on behalf of the leader of the BSP, said that the party took a loss in the deputy elections.

And she added that her party will not take part in the negotiations according to the formation of the coalition, in case it is invited. According to Ninova, in view of the fundamental differences in the programs of the parties, a large coalition involving GERB and BSP is not feasible.
