The fight has become a result of celebrations in Odessa

Day of liberation of Odessa from the Nazis during the Second World War (73rd anniversary) was marked not only by one fight between activists of patriotic organizations and supporters of the “Russian world” who came with traditional colors. The conflict occurred near the monument to the Unknown Sailor. After a painful experience Odessa’s police arrested six people in order to prevent dangerous developments, but the story continued.

Another fight started after a while. This time about a dozen people were sent to prison. One of them had smoke bombs and a gas canister. Thus, it was possible to stop the development of the conflict.

A total of 16 activists from various political forces were detained, who participated in the scuffle. All were sent to the police stations to give explanations. Similar actions fall under the article on hooliganism.
