Privatbank. Million amounts frauds

After the transition to state ownership, it turned out that a debt hole of 372.780 million hryvnia was formed in Privatbank. The Prosecutor General’s Office believes that the previous management of Privat issued loans linked to each other by 10 firms on fabulously favorable terms. Moreover, it was happening in the period of refinancing, when such operations are prohibited, especially with related firms.

Basically, loans were received at 9% per annum (while resources cost about 17%), and the entire amount could be paid with interest at the end of the contract.

As a rule, the loan is deposit-secured. In this case, the corporate rights of unrelated companies are not more than 25%. Responsible for the implementation of all points of the contract is Privatooffice, which owns a huge estate, but none of the 415 objects were bailed out. At the request of the General Prosecutor’s Office, the court arrested all the property of Privatoffice – land plots, premises, administrative buildings, shops, etc.
