National Bank has granted Oschadbank an authorized status and right to work with cash reserves of the regulator.

National Bank has granted Oschadbank  an authorized status and right to work with cash reserves of the regulator.

This was reported in the press service of the regulator.

Please note that Oschadbank has become the first bank to receive this status.

In addition, Oschadbank received the right to provide other banks’ with cash, and right to receive the excess cash  from them .

Thus, the National Bank has delegated part of the functions  to other banks. It is determined by the organization of the Concept of cash circulation in Ukraine.

Banks, that match a number of criteria may be involved to work with the cash of the National .

In January of this year the volume of cash in circulation has decreased by 6.2% – from 314.4 billion ₴ ₴ to 294.9 billion.

Before, the National Bank has proclaimed, that  the volume of cash in circulation increased by 11.5%  – from ₴ ₴ 282.7 billion to 315.2 billion, but later they had specified the indicator of volume of cash in circulation by the end of 2016, it was 314.4 billion ₴.
