Domestic business now needs to be reoriented to new directions – to Europe, Africa and Asia. It will require large investments and long-term loans to conquer new markets. To tap the country’s export potential, the World Bank has allocated a $ 150 million loan to Ukrainian business. The funds are intended for lending to small and medium-sized enterprises, on a long-term basis.
First of all, to develop and increase exports, Ukrainian business needs quality financing, in this case entrepreneurs will be able to contribute to the revival and development of the Ukrainian economy.
Financial flows will be sent to the main borrower – to the state Ukreximbank, and sub-loans will go either directly to the business or through partner banks. The program provides for the selection of small and medium-sized enterprises, first of all, the financial condition and potential for developing an export business model will be taken into account. The project will be launched this year.
