Rapid breakthrough to openness

An updated world ranking, which determines the openness and accessibility to government data, has been published. This time 94 countries took part in it. Ukraine surprised with excellent indicators, going to 24th place and having won in one fell swoop thirty positions. This state of affairs can be explained by the fact that the portal, where there is information not only about budget expenditures – public procurement, has been actively operating. Thanks to this, transparency of budgetary procedures has been ensured. Everyone can see transactions in real time and monitor the execution of the budget, which is an effective tool in the fight against corruption.

Lately, access to most of the basic registers has been opened, the country has joined the Open Data Charter, to all the government has approved a road map for the development of open data.
